What we collect
The only personal information this website collects is what you send us through the contact form: your name, email address and message, plus your company and role if you choose to give them.
Why
To respond to your inquiry and follow up about our services. We don't use it for anything else, and we don't sell or share it with anyone for marketing.
Legal basis
Under the GDPR, we use your details because you wrote to us: to take the steps you ask for before a possible contract, such as a demo or a quote (Art. 6(1)(b)), and in our legitimate interest in answering the business inquiries we receive (Art. 6(1)(f)).
How it's processed
Form submissions reach our email through Web3Forms, a form service operated from India on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the United States. Web3Forms processes them on our behalf under a data processing agreement and keeps a copy of each submission for up to three years, unless we delete it sooner. We keep your message in our email for as long as the conversation is relevant.
International transfers
We are based in Canada, which the European Commission recognises as providing adequate protection for personal data. Transfers to Web3Forms, outside Canada and the EU, are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, part of its data processing agreement.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising technologies. If you switch between the light and dark canvas, your browser remembers the choice on your device; it is never sent to us.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard server logs (IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site, in our legitimate interest in keeping it available and safe (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or delete it. If you are in the EU/EEA, the GDPR also lets you restrict how we use it, receive the information you gave us in a portable format, and object to our use of it at any time. Write to us at privacy@mavexsystems.com or through the contact form. If you're unsatisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (or the Commission d'accès à l'information in Quebec) or, in the EU/EEA, to the data protection authority of the country where you live or work.
